Yeah I did, but I have seen them live also.
They're not my genre but I did recognize them and the song. I imagine they're doing the casino circuit now.
I remember when I first heard G&R, was going home late one night and KLOL in houston played them, I knew shit was changing again. Like when Nirvana came out, and when KoRn did.
I pretty much let that era, and since, pass me by. I know, and enjoy, a very few of that time. We seem to each have a window of place and time when music sticks in our souls. Being the language of emotion it gets pretty personal, which is good. It'd be pretty damn boring if we all liked the same.
I was booking Korn at my club when nirvana came out. They were decent guys, but they really didn't have much draw yet back then.
I have seen all the hair bands, Im not ashamed of that.
