That's a pretty interesting website, too bad it looks like they stopped updating last year.
Lol, that's my site. I've been taking a break for a few months and decided to update and repost the articles I did from the start again. I'm currently posting an article each Tuesday and Thursday.
I posted ~400 songs with short background snippets on Voat about 3.5 years ago and my friend, TheBuddha, decided I should collect them onto a site of their own. Since I don't know how to code and setup a site, he created it for me and I had him post the early articles for me until I figured out how to format, edit, and post them myself.
I, and he, have a passion to preserve the history and artists of that extremely influential and significant period in modern music. There is an 'About This Project' page there that sorta explains what we're trying to do.

I spent a decent amount of time there last night, and passed it along to some other people. Looking forward to some new stuff.
You might notice that the earlier articles are a little more sparse than later ones. It took me a while to get my legs under me and learn to compile my info better. That's why I'm going back through and updating those. I have a list, always growing, of songs I want to get to and hopefully will start those soon.
I am very thankful you're interested as the purpose is to keep these songs, artists, and their stories alive.
