I don't science much, I'm tarded, but isn't coke an acid and doesn't acid dissolve cans? Without the liner you'd be drinking some form of dissolved aluminum.

I go for glass every time I can. I've gone the way of sparkling water. Not trying to be fancy but matches the form and feeling without the sugar.
