As long as you’re doing less than 8 miles you’re fine. I really just meant that for long runs, as in 10-20 miles (which most people here probably won’t do I was just throwing it out there) I do recommend getting a good pair of running shoes at the least though, just to be easy on your feet.
So those are ok if you’re just hiking, they feel neat. Running though, I wouldn’t do that. They wear out really quickly and don’t have enough cushion to keep your feet from getting fucked. Maybe a short run on a flat trail with no rocks would be ok but even then idk. A normal trail with lots of rocks and uneven shit that your feet will inevitably land on would be hell in those things.
