I was up at 545 to run 2.7 miles with verticals in the woods with my dog. Sunday was at gym, benched 235, did 24 chin ups (ok in reps of 8, I’m trying my best).

Start lifting and running, no more excuses! Drink more water, stop eating sugar and processed foods.

Become strong for yourself and your community. Stop being a faggot. That is all.

I was up at 4:50 AM to go to work. Maybe you should get up earlier you lazy faggot!

Body recomposition is where it’s at. Jeff Nippard has a ton of good videos on that on YouTube. AthleanX. I don’t know about the politics of these guys and I don’t care, but the science is overwhelming, and body recomposition definitely works. Works for me. It’s a little slower, but in about a year I gained 20 pounds of muscle and lost 25 pounds of body fat. Not weight, body fat. I hadn’t trained in years because of injuries and cancer and other things i used as an excuse. For anyone new, body recomposition is the way to go. Someone has been training a long time is probably too well trained to pull it off. But for newbies? Dedicate one year of your life to adding another 10 years to your life expectancy.

AthleanX lifts fake weights with shitty form, has retarded exercise routines, and comes off as a colossal faggot, imo.

Going from nothing to something will give you tremendous results, but if you're lifting weights you want to do it correctly (aasgaardco.com)

Go buy a good pair of running shoes and a couple sets of good running shorts/ shirts. Makes a world of difference.

If you like trail running or long distance in general, get some salt tabs and splurge on an rx bar (or something similar) to eat mid run. Running vests are expensive but 110% worth it. (Don’t get a waste pack they fucking suck.

Get some chucks or similar flat bottomed shoe for lifting weights, doesn’t have to be expensive. Don’t squat or deadlift in a running shoe/sneaker.

Stop drinking soft drinks, eat as little shit food as possible (eating a few cookies one or two days a week won’t kill you) and drink lots of water.

Count calories. Don’t eat over 2500 cal a day unless you want to gain weight.

Honestly, I get up and first thing hot lemon water, run. I have no performance problems. I think my body thinks I’m either running from a predator or chasing prey so I can get breakfast.

I was thinking about trying those earth toe shoes for woods trail running, any experience with those?

As long as you’re doing less than 8 miles you’re fine. I really just meant that for long runs, as in 10-20 miles (which most people here probably won’t do I was just throwing it out there) I do recommend getting a good pair of running shoes at the least though, just to be easy on your feet.

So those are ok if you’re just hiking, they feel neat. Running though, I wouldn’t do that. They wear out really quickly and don’t have enough cushion to keep your feet from getting fucked. Maybe a short run on a flat trail with no rocks would be ok but even then idk. A normal trail with lots of rocks and uneven shit that your feet will inevitably land on would be hell in those things.

Yes but no. Don't run. Save your fucking knees and hips. Bike, swim, walk (yes there's a significant impact difference) But DO NOT RUN. It's retarded as fuck.

lift

Yes.

I trail run in the woods, black diamond trails.

If you think your body isn’t designed to run in the woods, you’re an idiot.

I don’t run on pavement, that is not natural and my knees don’t like it. But trail woods running I am at my best

Learn forefoot running. The way your body was designed to run.
