Emergency Rooms were once synonymous with fast treatment for those requiring urgent care. Today, they’re where you go to wait. And wait. And wait.

Whether broken limbs, abdominal pain that can only mean a high likelihood of some sort of internal rupture, or even bleeding from the face, there is nothing that moves the needle to register as an “emergency” in the ER, except those fat cash Covid symptoms.

What do they have running at top speed at all times? Their billing systems. Every tittle and jot being assessed for financial gain.

It’s a great deceit to call this an “emergency room.”

You get triaged. If you're not actually dying you have to wait until they take care of the people who are. Then they take care of the people who might be dying in a little while. Then they take care of the people who are just hurt.

Oh yeah, they sure have changed the meaning of the word "emergency". In Clown World they take poorly run to new levels and the worse the service the more they charge for it.

I just got home from taking a patient to the ER, took less than a minute to have her in the room and transferred onto their bed and 3 nurses in there waiting. Took another patient last week to the biggest regional hospital in the area and it took about 3 minutes to get him into a room and had 2 nurses there before I got him off the cot into the bed. Not sure what your basing your information on.
