The founders used normal police to enforce freedom, a checks and balances and other systems to keep freedom in place.

However if the system was designed so that maintaining freedom was directly more profitable for the individual to maintain themselves, instead of collective, corruption could never take over freedom. Because freedom would be the greed choice then.

We could design a better constitution. Why the fuck was the election rules put in the hands of the elected? In what system of economies to you pay first whatever you have to give them see what you’ll get back?

Make “taxes” be itemized receipts for government services rendered. Let entire governments die by consumer choice to simply stop paying for it.

Clever.

Definitely.

We could and should start finding people willing to become delegates to a "government in exile". It's purely symbolic, but I think would be a statement of its own, to have two people from every state attend some sort of "new constitutional convention".
