Is a table inferior to a coffee maker? Depends on what you want it for. I don’t think a coffee maker is a great surface for serving a big family meal, but I also don’t believe I’ll yield worthwhile results pouring water and Maxwell House grounds onto my oak six seater trestle-base. Each has advantages and purposes.
