Lets suppose I am the u.s. government for sake of a thought exercise.
I need to invent the next "big lie".
It is a trivial matter to have a company, many of which are tied at the hip to said government, sue my regime on pretext. It is trivial to lose that law suit. It is trivial to let my international opponents see this case, when their own intelligence agencies might be questioning the veracity of the bomb-- and lead them to believe it is the real deal.
Believe only half the things you see, and none of the things you hear.
