Individuals going on general strike don't generate scenarios that re self-sustaining or promote an avalanche effect in movement growth, unlike the canadian convoy. Part of that is the psychological effect of physical solidarity: the presence of others, in an uncertain environment, working towards the same goal. It is a *powerful* effect to keep a movement's members all heading in the same direction. That and the physical presence forced the media into a feeding frenzy initially. Awareness drives growth. Thats how the state kills movements dangerous to it: ignore them. You want to build something, you create a scenario where they have serious trouble ignoring you, and on top of that build it on the solidarity effect caused by physical presence of members among each other. Why do you think the FBI breaks up right-wing organizations and militias before they even have a chance to officially establish themselves?
