I've seen in response to Sotomayor's complete ignorance of the subjects she shares her opinion on that many have said they hope she's next to kick the bucket. But we shouldn't hope for such a thing so fast. It is still considered likely that another justice will be appointed during resident Biden's first and likely only term. But it is even more certain that republicans will take both chambers in 2022. If there is going to be an appointment it would be much better if the nominee were picked under the context of needing approval by a republican senate. I'm just saying, don't wish too strongly for their poor health.
