There won't be camps in the u.s. Instead they will use "regional" lockdowns. Same way theres never "door to door gun confiscations". Just initiate "gun buybacks" and highway checkpoints, and increasingly criminalize common firearms/ammo/accessories while increasing patrolling and brainwashing cops to demonize gun owners as "dangerous". Heavily armed societies dont do direct force. They do gradual coercion over decades.
