"as the state defends a new law restricting when platforms can suspend users. "

Be sure that they are creating this because they intend to flood alternative sites with bots and fucking neo-bolsheviks. And sooner or later, it will come to the state telling you that you can't ban them or remove people who post calls to violence and pornography--both of which will be used to shut down sites that allow people to communicate and speak the truth freely.

All of this, instead of simply enforcing the god damn law about platforms becoming publishers.

Thats how you know this is the GOP slowwalking another DNC initiative.

  1. Allow companies to run roughshod over the public, creating a crisis (problem).

  2. Ramp up anger over this, amplify it, and propose laws giving the state authority to decide who can speak and who cant (reaction) Present it as the solution to overreach, instead of enforcing the law against platforms that act like publishers

  3. A few years (or months) down the line, this is then used to censor the right even further. (synthesis).

bonus

  1. GOP throws up their hands and says "no one could have predicted this!"

  2. Republican politician grandstand about fighting it, only to do nothing, or fail in their weak efforts.

  3. more censorship. More demonization of americans by the establishment, media, wallstreet, silicon valley, and DC.

Your theory is incorrect. The Republican government of Texas is trying to take back some of the freedom of speech that was stolen from us by Big Tech. Your post reads very much like the post of a Democrat operative (probably a Jew) trying to sow confusion over the freedom of speech issue in Texas.

I'm neither and your response sounds like projection.

The Republican government of Texas is trying to take back some of the freedom of speech that was stolen from us by Big Tech.

Yeah, thats why we still have warp speed, mask mandates, and attempts at vaxx mandates--because they're really fighting for us this time " honest guys !"

No the GOP work hand in glove with the DNC.

How can you not see this repeated pattern of behavior by them?

135 of them voted in lockstep with the DNC to approve redflag laws.

But they'll sure "fight" for us and grandstand a lot before backing down, or being beat in the courts or coming to a "compromise" last minute, or having their "hands tied" or having one or two "turn traitor" last minute. yet these same people are alloed by the rest of the party to remain in the party.

The GOP is done. It's the right-wing arm of the DNC, and thats all it is.

Big tech pays big oil for their big energy. Connect the dots fren.

Sustainability refers to economics not environmentalism.

You're gonna have to dumb it down for me fren.

Texas aka big energy is feuding with big tech cause of money. Big tech wants cheaper energy because they consume so much of it. Big energy gets paid regardless, or their whole enterprise goes nowhere.
