Also if you weren't sure 1865 was the end of the (((civil war))) and the end of the tenth amendment, which harbored the end of the constitution.

I'm not sure you can define a date. It's been a gradual decline over hundreds of years. I'd make a case you can distinguish a major milestone in 1913 and again in 1929. Certainly 2008 was yet another observable milestone. 1963 and 1964 were yet other milestones. The death of America is a thousand cuts. Xiden, that reference is for you.
