Also, do the Slavic squat daily. Start by using a chair to lower yourself into it, and just hold it for a few seconds. Repeat multiple times a s day and try to add a second to the squat time each time until you can do it unassisted by a chair and stay in the squat for a solid minute. That stretches your lower back nicely and works out your stabilising muscles.
