I am thankful that I never had to use a typewriter except as a curiosity.
There is something very satisfying about the tactile nature and sound of it.
Did someone say buckling spring keyboard?

We had Z80 based computers at school, but we still preferred the sound and feedback of the typewriter.
When I was in middle school, typing was still a required course. We had to do it on typewriters. That class was hell in earth, especially the tests, but it is legit one of the only things from middle school that I can safely say has helped me my entire life so far
Same for me. It is the only thing that I learned as a kid that I use almost every day. And maybe also grammar, because I like to speak good.
Grammar is one of the many things that separate us from niggers
