I resisted cell phones for a while. Then I resisted texting. My first born received his phone at 16 (2004) only because he started driving. When he and I started texting, it was ALWAYS proper grammar and punctuation. I insisted. He didn’t resist. To this day, it is the same. Ditto for my daughter who came along in 1995. Different times now, I suppose.
