Wanting to stop and not being able to is basically the hallmark of an alcoholic. Have you considered finding an aa meeting?

Off The Sauce is a place for people trying to quit alcohol, or in recovery from alcohol, to share: stories, support, memes, music, or general recovery related content.

Substance abuse posts are allowed, but the main focus is getting and staying off the sauce.

If you're not an alcoholic, feel free to take part, but know that this is a life or death matter for us who are. Don't be a dick. If you don't get it, find somewhere else to shitpost.
