Tbf I didn't go through the steps myself. Never really had the most serious problem with alcohol. Was court ordered for a year cause for some reason the judge felt like giving me a year of drug court even though I wasn't into drugs other than pot. Wasn't a DUI/dwi either. Just fucked up and hung with the wrong crowd. I did learn a lot there though but at the end of it they did tell me I should have never been in the program to begin with. Judge just really wanted me to see the other side for what it is. Edit: have almost 2 years off booze now and 3 months off pot.
