B/C the UK never enslaved people. Good GOD get a frickin education. The UK not only took slaves everywhere they went, but they tried and almost succeeded in killing off the Irish so they could steal their land. Many Irish slaves at the end of the 1800s and early 1900s in America and England. You just changed the name(sounds like today) and called it indentured servitude. The problem was the servant could never pay off the debt. If they got close, the owner of the debt sold them to someone else and the debt started over. THAT IS SLAVERY.

Should the Irish, who were made slaves by YOUR LOUSY COUNTRY, come for you according to your ignorant bullshit? I'm willing.

Haha, my lousy country? I’m born and bred in Dublin mo chara. Guessing you’re a North American mutt desperately clinging to some vestige of Gaelic culture on your barstool over the pond? And no, we get on okay with the Brits these days. Still some issues with the Ulster Scots but dealt with relatively peacefully these days. Wait, are they the pipes I hear a-calling?!

So we are guilty and deserve to be hated by the most catered to group in the last 60 years' with bitterness and violence b/c they're great, great, great, great grand pappy was a slave but you're good pals with your great great grandpas slaver. Don't see the hypocrisy do ya?

The way I see it, I have as much of a reason to be violent and angry b/c my Irish ancestors were slaves in America as the blacks. I have more reason. My people were slaves more recently and they didn't get all the perks that blacks get.

I studied American culture/history, not Irish and have no desire to go to Ireland. As to languages I never studied Gaelic, nor do I hang out on barstools. Sounds like a liberal, make crap up and act superior or upset by it

Stop being a victim for Christ’s sake, we Irish endure, we do not wallow. But incidentally, “your people” fucking ran, my people stayed and endured. Ask my bollix about the “slavery” ye suffered when ye took to the road.

In Jamaica, the Irish and the niggers were both slaves, and they became Jamaicans.
