The reality is that "retirement" is yet another jewish trick. Men never retired: they moved-on from *doing* the work, to *passing-on knowledge* of the work. The seniors would make sure the young'ins would have everything they need to survive, in the future: and thus the circle-of-life was complete. We broke that circle.
