Uncultured assbackwards savage! The fat MUST remain at least a little bit chewy. Otherwise, what's the point of having it to begin with?
Get the meat crispy sure, but let the fat stay chewy.
I like it either way, but melt in your mouth bacon is pretty sweet.
If there’s zero fat chewiness remaining I consider it ruined.
