I can't take pics of myself making this, because my hands are covered in grease. Anyhow, do you have a george foreman grille? I have the smallest one. It's so small that every time I open a new package of bacon, I have to cut the whole slab of bacon in half. The original slices are too long to fit on the gf grille.
SO, turn gf grille on, get it up to temp. Lay down 3 (half) slices of bacon. Place a piece of bread on there. Place 2 slices of cheese, then put another piece of bread. Now add 3 more (half) slices of bacon. Shut the lid, cook for 8 minutes. Sure, sometimes some cheese leaks out, makes a hell of a mess, but who cares? Damn good bacon cheese sandwich.
Like this---bacon/bread/cheese/bread/bacon.
EDIT: last time I did this--- bacon/bread/ham/cheese/ham/bread/bacon. THAT was OK, but the ham juices soaked into the bread, making it a little soggy? Anyhow, next time I buy ham I'm going to do this---bacon/bread/cheese/ham/cheese/bread bacon. Should be good to go.
