I'm surprised that someone received a grant to do a study on why a protective helmet helps keep your skull from being ripped open in a crash. It's just like a baseball batting helmet that prevents death from a 100 mph fastball to the temple.

its funny, there was a time i lost my licence to drive.... and would ride my bike into town. about 1/4 of the the way there my feet tripped (yes i was wearing flip flops) i had to hit my head i pretty much high sided... granted i was drunk... but at about halfway there i was like "fuck i cant do this" and turned around.

I could not balance for shit, could not walk my bike etc.... some guy in his truck ask if i was alright, ran inside gave him like 300 bucks... i was considering calling the cops to pick me up.

I think i had a light concussion from the fall. i know i was drunk, but it takes ALOT to get me like that i know it wasnt that. I seriously couldnt stand
