No kidding. Its like they intentionally studied and engineered this for decades to figure out how to get more of your money faster and easier. Why would they ever do that? COUGH COUGH
A interesting study would be to see if the "blue light filtering" that you can buy for most prescription glasses actually do anything to combat this behavior and reaction. That, would be interesting.
The one time I was in a casino was for a work trip and our guide said the one restaurant was really good and cheap (at the time.) It was both, and we ate way too much.
Afterwards, we wandered around for a while. I played a $2.00 roll of nickle slots just because I wanted to try a real slot machine. Eh...
Anyway, no windows, no clocks, and there was this angelic choir constantly going "mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm" in the background. It was all flash and glitter and very well lit so you didn't realize that you were getting tired or that time was passing. Quite the lesson in design, that place.
