You are not. They care about skin color very specifically for part of their cast. It does not matter how smart or successful you are unless you are lighter skin (for the most part). They also love when White people are forced to drive them around and deliver food to them since that makes them feel that they are a higher cast.

Their culture is shit and should be treated as such.

Long time ago I used to work with one jeet who was not as bad as others since he was Christian, he was new in the country. He was shocked to see me wear t shirts when it started to get sunny with a specific reason to get tan and vit d going. He was wearing long sleeve all summer just to avoid getting any darker. Completely demented people.
