Ehhhh this dude's a bit much. As much as AB is a complete retard he doesn't have it in him to intentionally kill somebody. I don't know the guy obviously but he just doesn't seem to be a murderer. If he doesn't handle weapons on movie sets he probably got overwhelmed with protocol and didn't follow procedure. That would be on the armorer more than him.

It doesn't matter whether he intentionally killed her, by pulling the trigger he would be guilty of reckless homicide (manslaughter).

What he probably did was pulled the trigger, possibly without even noticing it (without the hammer being drawn back), then without releasing the trigger, he pulled the hammer back and let go of it without realizing that he had pulled the trigger. That is not necessarily murder, but it is manslaughter (negligent homicide), because a person in control of a firearm is responsible for their actions, if you make a negligent discharge and kill someone, you'll get charged with manslaughter.

Yeah that makes sense. The podcast dude is an alarmist idiot though.

Kind of a separate debate entirely but I walked away from listening to podcasts back in 2019 because most of the content was commercials and what was left over was dude who wanted to sound like Joe Rogan and the rest wanted to suck the dick of Jocko Willink. I'm much happier just listening to audiobooks now.

There are some decent analyses of the Alec Baldwin shit show, mainly by a few lawyers like Law of Self Defense (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLcckCQsJdOLoIJGqRT2l5IcXR8m_5eWj-) or Runkle of the Bailey (who just put up a video on this very topic that I haven't watched yet: www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZmuxaNLvJs). They are much less hyperbolic and much more knowledgeable about both the physical reality (being firearm specialists) and the legal side.
