This mentality is stupid. My job is a bad fit because there are things about the environment that I lack the power to change, and I think this job is a better fit because... is the only conversation that needs to happen in an interview.

It is strategic but a dumb game to play. Just like you can't say "I didn't go to college to make less than 50 a year" or "new college grads make more than what my job is paying me and they offered a probationary wage that they won't change" or "because I am 26 the office manager treats me as a surrogate child and that isn't healthy."
