Go to a woman's house today and find out her heater keeps tripping her breaker. Find out that some jackass wired her heater and at least two other things to the same breaker causing it to trip when all three are running. I tell her. Her response, no joke, :My cousin daykwan wired that up, he's in school to be lectician". "Maam, your cousin is an idiot and you are lucky your house didn't burn down. Call an electrician, a real one this time." "I ain't got money for that shit." "Then burn your house down, I don't care, it's not my problem, pay me." Then she huffed and puffed and said she didn't want to pay so I told her after thirty days we tack on extra service charges and interest and then turn it over to collections and got the fuck out of there. Moral of the story? When it comes to wiring shit up, leave it to actual professionals.

Why the frick would you wire something else to the furnace circuit? Furnaces, ACs, and fridges: the three things which get their own circuit for a darn good reason.

Maybe daqwaan will go and replace a lower amp breaker with a higher one and the problem will solve itself

leave it to actual professionals.

Yes, absolutely. I'm lucky I didn't burn the house down installing a couple new outlets in the basement (in metal conduit, standard 14 awg wire, 6ft off of the floor, yada yada I have no clue, really... just skimmed a few pages). Encountered a junction box that actually had two separate circuits, that I thought was one circuit. The one that was still live, the one I fucked up on, was luckily a GFCI circuit that popped open and prevented frying myself and the house. Should have not assumed everything I was looking at was the same dead circuit I opened up with the breaker.

I know now... but I had to almost burn the place down or electrocute myself to figure it out.
