I'm pretty sure the phone started smoking because the fat niggress landed on it when it hit the ground. The weight and force of impact damaged the battery (which was probably already damaged from poor charging practices) and the battery developed an internal short circuit causing thermal run away. There's no way the taser caused that battery to explode without a direct injection of electric current into the circuit.
