I always make sure to keep the gun at least two inches away from the bead when I'm doing MIG, to let the shielding gas escape more betterer.

Co-worker found it in the paper this morning and we had a chuckle. He's such a raciss! :)

Edit, reminds me of those: Soldering 101

Ouchie!

Does the helmet not have a band? I see what looks like the eyepiece down near it's chin...

Then there's the pedo story on the other side...

No head band. We have the very same one here and it's got a little thumb operated window beneath the glass so the user can take a quick peek without moving the whole thing. It's not in use any more but such things don't get thrown out.

I snapped two pics open and closed: embed embed

Also found the pic and another one where you see its face. embed embed

https://www.alamy.com/stock-photo-bremen-germany-24th-feb-2015-archiv-illustration-trainee-hadeiatou-123290089.html It's a stock photo that's used since 2015 in a lot of articles like: https://www.dw.com/en/refugees-overqualified-and-underpaid-in-germany/a-66502380

Refugees overqualified and underpaid in Germany

Fuck you, DW. Lying pieces of crap.

Thought about cropping out the pedo article but decided against it. I think both articles somehow go together very well.

Bottom pic she is welding without even looking, overqualified indeed. I suspect some photo manipulation.

And those welds look like shit. Lies done poorly.

Had to go back and look - utter crap.

Interesting design, I don't know that I've seen one like that here - it was usually just flip up/down when needed, like a magnifying headset. Of course, now, they're all insta-dim windows.

I know zero about welding. Is that welders mask normal?

EDIT: I read down further into the comments.
