Why the fuck is a MAYOR doing anything over seas and tax payer funded? I understand at higher levels but not MAYOR.

You have a city in the USA to take care of. Fix your own house before you even look at someone else's.

It would be a real damn shame if someone dropped a match near the Montebello mall, at this point. Those eucalyptus trees would explode, and the surrounding whitter narrows nature preserve and oil infastructre would devisate the san gabriel valley, potentially spreading down the 60 freeway corridor to orange county and possibly even san diego.
