There's an old video out there about this. It was a reading of a letter sent by someone inside the music industry back in the 90s. Supposedly, the heads of the record labels were telling their higher up employees to purchase stocks in the private prisons.

I wouldn't be surprised...record labels don't seem like very strenuous work, same with private prisons. Is there a demographic that gravitates towards lower effort industries that involves taking advantage or people?
