People are kinda overreacting about this. Not that it isn't horrifying, it's that it was proposed by a "bioethicist" which like regular ethicists, are irrelevant and not consulted by anyone who makes policy. It's not gonna happen.
The toplofty tenure chaser has a point though. Without brain activity a woman's body is "just a clump of cells". At least that's how feminists should see it if they were at all consistent. If it's ok to use a dead fetus's stem cells, then why not this?
I don't know about you but my body is me. I may be a clump of cells but that clump of cells has an identity a personality a history a set of belief systems and morals and values; a family and friends...this is culture of death bullshit at it's worst.
