I honestly don't understand the appeal of vinyl. The few I've listened to sounded like shit. I'll take a high bit rate digital file any day of the week over a big clunky record.
I'm not an audiophile myself, but yes, there is better quality in vinyl. And not to mention that holding a physical copy of music to play on a turntable has more feeling than just " Alexa spy device, play spotify."
I will have to assume you came into this world after the year 2000. It's not exactly about the quality, its about the experience.
Also, I own exactly zero vinyl's or a player. I just grew up with them.
I would have to disagree just bit on this point. I have a small collection LPs and a turntable. The audio quality is noticeable but it's offset by a warmth, a mood quality that is missing from digital recording. That may just be my ear coloured by nostalgia.
Fair enough.
