Oh, the systems are inter-linked. There are a group of "lawyers" that volunteer free services to get these people out. There are groups that pay for their bail, legal fees, etc (Harris actually pushed one of them). I don't know what the pay looks like but it is probably cheep. These are "useful idiots". Have you ever wondered why so many "protest" signs look so mass-produced? I could go on but you probably get the point.
