Seagulls are fucking bastards. I had a pet goldfish for five years that got huge and finally croaked. We lived in San Diego at the time, so I decided I would send it out to sea as a farewell. We dumped it off a pier and my husband cocked his head to the side lost deep in thought.....then had a realization of what he just did and said, "you should probably look away right now". Right when I started to ask, "why", a flock of seagulls came swooping down and started fighting over my dead goldfish! I saw little gold pieces in those damn birds beaks. I was horrified! That was my pet! After that I've become an advocate of allowing people to shoot those damn skyrats.
