Both the winner, president-elect Saied, and the loser, Nabil Karoui, campaigned that any normalized realtions with Israel are illegal and/or treason. Lulz. They didn't site the law or legal precedent; it is their 'belief.' The country/population wants to create laws that would make it illegal to have to ties to Tel Aviv.
