Great decision by them. I'm going to remember that. Where I live EMS is part of the fire department, but I've personally seen the response time for the fire department in my area a couple of times and it is outstanding. Police would have called fire anyway to breach the door.

would not be surprised if they now get charged either criminally or civilly for calling the FD when no fire was there.
