If oil prices exploded there would be layoffs and it would start a chain reaction into recession. If it was Iran something would have been picked up on radar between launch and the oilfields unless it was just set explosives by the CIA and then no radar. Hell the Saudi's could have been behind this also because I won't rule them out just because it's their oil.
