It would create an extreme burden on any website that wants to run ads. Sure the big guys like google and facebook might have the resources to investigate the ads, but what if Poal wanted to run ads? It would have no way to investigate.

I did agree with you above, I don't think she has a case here. I do think that morally, which we all know the corporations are kowtowing to, they should be a lot more stringent with the ads they allow. I also think that Google is one of the worst perpetrators of shitty clickbait ads.

So they run ads from reputable sources. There's no real need to investigate when you can eyeball the ad. No shitty sites about how this one vegetable will make you eternal, or how some guys grandmother looks like a teenager after doing this one secret thing that doctors don't want you to know about. No scammy clickbait. It shouldn't be super hard to weed those out. If the majority of adults can look at ads like that and refrain from throwing money at them, the corporations might accidently be intelligent enough to not have them posted on their websites.

And when I say "the majority of adults", I'm obviously weeding out a few lovers of a letter.
