Doesn't make sense at all. Who gets to set the standard? Standards are completely subjective, it's like trying to impose your idea of "right or wrong" to others. You can keep clinging to the idea of "laws" forced upon you at birth all you like. Not everyone is still falling for it.
In this scenario, it's obvious an armed thug paid by our taxes, murders the very tax payer because this is the bottom line. Spin all the should have and could have's all you like, this is the reality. Laws were created for the convenience of lawmakers. It was never about your well-being.
