Yes laws exist. I understood what you were trying to say from the get go. My point is that if she had followed laws then it would have canceled the series of events that ultimately ended with her dog injured and her in a body bag.

So i don't think we needed to go down this route of dissecting your point into bite-sized pieces, but I'm humoring you anyway.

My point is this. Having a law does nothing. Like you said yourself, if she doesn't follow it, what does the law matter? And, I know you already knew what I was getting at, but I don't mind discussing it with you. So, you're saying if there were leash laws this wouldn't have happened. What makes you think she would have followed the leash law even if there was one?

Edit: If this story was true, then it's just unfortunate that we have armed people that do nothing but kill unarmed people, and we consider this "legal."
