Even though everyone is being a cunt with the instant downvotes, I'm probably the only one from Voat who understands that a downvote shouldn't mean "I disagree." I actually read the 'welcome' page.
And yes, Voat is a hive of scum and villainy. Armchair "professionals" who constantly scream about fat people and niggers aren't exactly doing their mental health any favours. I don't usually post in the main subs there for good reason. I already have enough idiots giving me trouble for being both a critical thinker and Q follower.
I think the reason people are being a cunt is because it's pretty annoying to have a bunch of people March in and act like they own the place every time voat goes down.
And even worse, those people go out of their way to make it clear that they aren't here because they LIKE poal, they're here because they like voat less at the moment. Look at the comments on this thread... it's all "I'm here because voat is down, I'm here because voat is being shit, better say niggerfaggot so people know I'm here from voat". Its no different to how voat bitche's and moans every time a wave of reddit refugees arrives.
What's worse is most will go back to voat even though they know it's shit (just like the reddit refugees) or stay here and bitch about how poal isn't voat.
