The actual number of dead prisoners was under 300,000, as documented by the International Red Cross right after the war ended and they investigated it. Note that in this article (latimes.com), the International Red Cross has so far only found documentation on 2.3 million prisoners, as of this year. How the hell do you get six million dead from 2.3 million?
