This is an interesting take on the tariffs. I can see it hurting the American consumer who buys imports but wouldn't it create a demand for less expensive domestically produced products? It seems like if companies are paying a hirer price for imported materiels to make the products in America those companies would seek to find less expensive materials made in America. I'm not sure as I know little about economics.
