He could always start his own roofing business if he has actual skill and make some real money. He likely has not clue how much his boss is raking in because roofs are not a cheap expense and over 10K for a large house is common and the boss is like keeping over 3k for his workers labors. This guy likely drinks a lot and shows up to work with an attitude like many roofers I've worked around.
