I spent a year in at Grand Forks AFB, ND in the mid-eighties. I was a missile electronics tech back then and drove hours back and forth to missile sites to do TSing and repairs. You toss wind into the factor here and it gets so damn cold you wouldn't believe it. But it's all relevant ... past a certain temp, cold is just cold as hell. A great experience to 'remember', but not one that was particularly fun to live through.

That's from January 30th. Sheeit, man. It's only 1300 miles to the arctic circle from there.
