Unfortunately not giving them a dime is impossible. Blackrock and Vanguard own a large share of stock in all western publicly traded companies. Berkshire, Citi, etc. also own large shares in the same companies. It gets interesting when you look into who owns Berkshire and all of those. Turns out it's Blackrock and Vanguard. So then naturally you look at who owns Blackrock, and wildly enough it's owned by Vanguard. That's where you hit a wall. Vanguard is owned by its shareholders, but it's set up in such a way that they don't have to say who the majority shareholders are.

TL;DR All western companies are owned by the same people. You don't like Pepsi's new commercial, fuck them buy Coca-Cola. Well they're both owned by the same people so either way you're funding the enemy. The only way I can see to win is to play their game as little as possible. Easier said than done.
