In this case, it's not so much about releasing the data as the people who are vaxxed already know that they are vaxxed. It's about giving back the data to the government that can keep track of vaccination status versus destroying the data so that the government does not know. But the two wallet thing would be a good idea. I'd hope more people would donate to the "destroy the data" wallet but the government can put up a lot of money stolen from taxpayers, so who knows how it would play out.
